The Rev.Denise M. Ronn, Priest-in-Charge

Rev. Denise Ronn, Phd. earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Pacific Lutheran University, a Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance from Valdosta State University, completed graduate work in Anglican Studies from the University of the South's School of Theology and has a doctorate degree in Human Services with a counseling focus from Capella University. She has recently retired from school counseling where she served for 13 years.

Rev. Denise is a trainer of the Church Development Institute (CDI) in the Diocese of Georgia and is a certified life coach with the International Coaching Federation. She began Human Relations training in the EQ-HR program in 2011 and serves as a trainer/facilitator with the Center for Emotional Intelligence and Human Relations.

Prior to coming to St. Philip's, Rev Denise served four years as priest associate at Christ the King Episcopal Church, Valdosta and seven and a half years as vicar at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Valdosta, GA. On July 1,2016, Rev. Denise became St. Philip's priest-in-charge.
